What Causes Missed Periods After Implanon Removal?

I had lmplanon for 3 years. It was due to be taken out in January but ihaf to wait for my insurance till the first week in April when I finally got it out. I have not had my period since then. When is my period supposed to start? Though I didn't get it in march too. That was a month before I took if out.
