What Causes Missed Periods After The Surgical Abortion?

my question is i had an surgical abortion last january 2010 and couples of weeks until feb 13 2010 my period stop...Since then up to now april i still dont have my period but im not definitely pregnant.i did pregnancy test and i got negative twice. please help me at this matter.
