What Causes Missing Periods And Spotting?

I took nor levo twice in one month. My period is now a week late and yesterday I had a bit of brown spotting. Do you think I am pregnant or has the excessive amount of hormones, due to the nor levo pill twice in a month, inhibited my period from starting?
