What Causes Mitral Valve Regurgitation Along With Hypercoagulability?

I found out few months ago that I have mitral valve regurgitation. My veins earth then and my blood is thick. I had an echocardiogram back in January that revealed the regurgitation. I pulled back medical records from 2007 saying that I had mitral valve regurgitation when I was hospitalized then. The doctors never told me that I had it. I m vitamin B 12 deficient in vitamin D deficient also. I am taking over-the-counter supplements for the B12 in the vitamin D deficiency. After my latest echocardiogram the doctor didn t say anything serious about the mitral valve regurgitation or any action I should be taking on my part. I believe I ve had this on my life and they just never caught it. My white blood cell count is high and so is my hemoglobin. My question to you is what would you prefer? I would appreciate it if you could educate me a little bit further on the information that I ve told you??
