What Causes Muscle Pain In Shoulder And Arm?

For the past three weeks my left shoulder muscles have hurt. I have done nothing to cause this. The muscle in the upper front of my left arm will seize up like a Charlie horse, I don t know I have never had one before. The muscle that goes up over my left shoulder also hurts. The tricep up the back of my left arm is also tender.
