What Causes My Difficulty In Speaking?

I have a problem with my throat. It would appear that I am able to speak or force wind through my throat with out opening my mouth. With my mouth closed when I read something or think of something the wind escapes through the lower throat and it comes out in the form of words like a blowing pattern that sounds out the word.
