What Causes Nausea And Diarrhoea Post Appendectomy?

I had an appendectomy 2 weeks ago, my appendix had become inflamed and ruptured within 12 hours. I was sent home 5 days later with oral antibiotics. I finished the antibiotics 3 days ago and woke up this morning with severe nausea and diarrhea. I am not running a temp but I didn t run one prior to my surgery either. My BP is currently 112/91 and pulse is 101 bpm. I have been recovering well and had my post op follow up on the 26th and everything seemed fine. I m wondering if I should be concerned about my flue like symptoms? I Prefer not to go to the hospital unless I am sure that I need to.
