What Causes Nausea And Sore Nipples While Using Birth Control Pills?

I started taking the birth control pill Loestrin. Then 3 days later I stopped do to working and feeling nauseated and sudden headaches. My period was a little longer than normal but I thought nothing of it. Now, I've still been feeling nauseated and my nipples are a little sore. Its been three days past the day my period was suppose to come on. Is these symptoms normal?
