What Causes Nausea Persistently With No Other Symptoms?

My husband has had persistant nausea for several months. He has been tested for ulcers and parasites and has had ultrasounds done but with no diagnosis. He finds it difficult to work. He has cut caffeine out of his diet. He has no other symptoms with the nausea, Do you have any sugestion as to what we might have the doctor check?
