What Causes Nausea Post Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy?

Hi. I had a total laproscopic hysterectomy 6 weeks ago. Dr. has me taking 1.25 mg of Ogen per day. I have been on thus medication for 9 days. I am severely nauseated all day and night every day. I have no pain or swelling anymore. I feel totally healed from surgery. I am to return to the doctor in 2 weeks. I am 39 years old. I feel like I need to discontinue the Ogen and discuss side effects on phone Monday. US it safe to do this?
