What Causes Night Sweat,crusty And Oozing Ear Skin?

I am a 47 yr old white woman who is in pre-menopause. I am dealing with nightly sweats. They're terrible. My question is, there are times that right behind my ears, the skin oozes and gets crusty. It also has a distinct odor that also seems to be on the side and back of my neck as well as the back of my ears!! What is this???????? I'm embarrassed and feel so self-conscious. Thank you.
