My 59 year old husband had cancer removed from his bladder twice (4 years ago) His bladder hasbeen clear since then. He has lost 75 pounds in the last year (not dieting). He has been having profuse night sweats and can't seem to get rid of a cold. CT of the chest, abdomen and pelvis ; the chest and abdomen were normal. The pelvis revealed a few nodular densities in his spleen, the largest measuring 15mm. Radiologist recommended an abdominal ultrasound. The doctor told us that the nodules were solid and he doesn't believe the nodules to be cancerous. He received a TB innoculation and blood was drawn to check for auto-immune diseases, etc. The ultrasound tech. had mentioned that the spleen was enlarged, but the doctor did not tell us this.Any advice, information or how you would proceed would be deeply appreciated. Thank you.
