What Causes Night Sweats After Partial Hysterectomy?

I had a partial Hyst when I was 29 now 46 all that is left are my ovaries I had night sweats a few years ago and that went away now I am having hot/cold flashes and Im not sure what type of meds are best for me.
I only have 1 kidney so I know when I take any meds it makes my liver harder.
