What Causes Noisy Shoulder Joint Post Treatment For Fracture In Collarbone?

Hi, I broke my collarbone on April 29, 2014. After it was done healing, I could move my shoulder up and down like normal. Except there was a cracking/grinding sound. It didn't hurt, so I thought it would get better after time. Now almost 9 months later, there is still a cracking/grinding sound. But still no pain.
What is happening?
Should I go see a doctor?
