What Causes Nose Bleeding While Coughing?

My 5 year old has had a cough for few days sometimes he says he feels sick when he is coughing (he coughing so hard) today when he is coughing he gets small nose bleed (twice in one day) is there anything I can do? I will be taking him doctors tomorrow thanks
