What Causes Nose Bleeds And Pins And Needles Feeling?

My daughter has been getting nose bleeds since she was 3 yrs old. She is currently 18 yrs old. She just had a nose bleed and she says that her head feels like pins and needles. Can you please tell me what is causing this. She said she had this problem once before.
