What Causes Nose Bleeds In A Child?

My 3 year old falls all the time & has been recently getting nose bleeds the past few weeks. Tonight has been the worse, he did fall on his face a little & his Jose bled. Got it to stop but now everytime he cries because he s over tired IT starts bleeding again. Should I take him to the hospital?!
