What Causes Nosebleed While Suffering From Stomach Flu?

My child has had a stomach virus since Wednesday. Vomiting,diarrhea, and very sleepy. Today she has felt better Actually getting off the couch. After she went to sleep tonight, I checked on her and noticed her nose had been bleeding whil she was asleep. I m worried. What do you think?
