What Causes Numbing And Tingling Sensation At The Site Of Injection?

hi. i got the norplant 2 1/2 yrs ago. i have had periods, altho some unreggular. i woke up yesterday and felt kind of a numbing but slightly tingling feeling in the injection area. i started rubbing the little stick and it felt bent. when i made a muscle to confirm it, it was bent. do i need to get it taken out? will it hurt the chance of me getting pregnant? will it destroy the muscle in that area? please help?!
