What Causes Numbness And Swelling In Arms After Blood Is Drawn?

I had a blood draw done today. Its been 5 hrs since I ve had it done, and my arm is somewhat numb down to my pink and ring finger. Some swelling going on, I ve ice it and taken ibuprofen. I ve never have had this experience before. They did have an hard time with my veins and did a lot of poking.
