What Causes Numbness At The Finger Tips?

I have this numbing tingling feel on the tip of my lg hand for about one week. Sometimes my entire arm gets a Charlie horse in the middle of the night that wake me up and walk for awhile which then eases the pain .However my finger tips still feel numb
