What Causes Numbness In Both The Hands Of My Mother?

Hi Sir, Myself Vishal, my mother is facing problem on her both hands. I mean she has feeling of namness I mean the feeling like when there is no circulation of blood in some part of the body. Now she is not even able to hold pen properly using her thumb. Please advice.
