What Causes Numbness In Feet?

A week ago I had what is suspected to have been a TIA and went to Scottsdale Health Care where I was given great treatment. I made the mistake of not checking in to finish the tests and chose to do through my physician which resulted in all this time . CAT scan didn t show anything - I then had a carotid ultra sound which shows a severe blockage - I have not had the opportunity to discuss eh results with a doctor although tomorrow I am going full speed ahead. I understand I should see a Vascular Surgeon. The one Cigna Group has found the earliest to be the 31st of March. I plan on searching myself tomorrow and have had recommendation to use Dr. Robert Riley in Scottsdale. I plan to contact his office tomorrow myself. Am I correct in assuming that the sooner that I can get this taken care of the better? I m experiencing some numbness in my feet as well but could be attributed to borderline type II. Thank you
