What Causes Numbness In Hands And Legs?

I had a near accident going to work this morning. I didn t know the mountain was icy and my car slid around on the highway. I got the car under control, and then put it in 4wheel drivve and went on to work slowly and safely. But when this happened, it scared me so bad that my legs turned to jelly and for the rest of the day my left, hands and face havebeen numb. The mishap was at 6:15 this morning. I am afraid iI had a stroke or something
