What Causes Numbness In The Upper Left Thigh On Standing For A While?

get a numbness in my upper left thigh when standing for a while -- it feels warm from the inside not to the touch - no visibile redness or swelling -- goes away when i take weight off -- by sitting or lying down - only seems to happen if I stand for more than 10 min or so
