What Causes Numbness On Side Of Face, Blurred Vision And Pain In Back Of Head?

I have had head pain at the back of my head and the base of my neck for months off and on. The pain seems to stay there for a few days and some days I get a headache between my eyes and ears that is intence. A few times the left side of my face has gone numb and my vision gets fuzzy. I have seen my PCP about this and he has been treating it as migraines. The medicine helps with the headaches, but not the intence head pain and constant neck pain. I also hear a whooshing sound in my ears that sound in my ears.
