What Causes Orange Colour At The Bottom Of The Feet?

My son is acting very strange. He is an athlete and worried that something is really wrong with him, which has just started and is not typical of him. His complaints are skin rashes, which I don't really see and tingling in his hands and I noticed that the bottoms of his feet are a little orange colored. Thanks.
