What Causes Orange Discharge During Periods Following Unprotected Sex?

okay i had unprotected sex and well he didnt ejaculate inside of me..but when it was time for my period which i am 5 days late i start having dis orange like bleeding coming out.. and i took the test twice to see if im pregnant but i am not.. i am not sure whats going on? help
