What Causes Orange Liquid Discharge From Nostril?

Orange/gold liquid came from my right nostril as i was rinsing my face after shaving. Maybe a Tablespoon or so total.I'm 54 y.o. male, in otherwise fine health.Other symptoms: about 2 weeks ago I sanded the wood floors of a house. That evening my right nostril was plugged up. Over these 2 weeks intermittently the blockage has disappeared and occasionally taken up residence in the left nostril.At no time have I been ill, fever, tired or had any symptoms.About 2 hours before the incident, I shoveled snow about 20 minutes. Scarf around the neck, cap covering ears, gloves and a jacket. I was sweating slightly at the end. It was about 10 Degrees outside at the time.Got any ideas?
