I have been getting upper cervical spinal adjustments for approximately 8(?) weeks now. 5 weeks ago I broke out with psoriasis all over my body. A dermatologist did a biopsy to confirm the diagnosis. After a 24 day stint of prednisone (started at 60 mg - ended at 10 mg) the spots just continued to spread. So then we tried an antibiotic, in case the swollen glands in my neck were harboring an infection causing the psoriasis. After that we started light treatment - and I burned so badly at one minute of the lowest dose, and now have a slight butterfly rash across my nose & cheeks. So the dermatologist said lets move on to a medication.....sorry, don t remember the name...but it s NASTY, and after discussing it with my PA, I am opting not to take it. BUT...MY QUESTION TO YOU IS...A good week ago I spent about 7 minutes on the elliptical (and, yes, I am out of shape), and experienced pain in my calves following that. The pain has continued to get worse and move up to include my whole legs. Sitting or standing is excruciating!!! Any ideas what may be causing this, or if it will simply wear off, or is it related to the Retracing that the upper cervical chiropractic adjustments forecast. Thank you for taking time to consider my question. Sincerely, Jennifer
