What Causes Ovarian Swelling?

hi i am 18 now and no periods from 3 years i have consult to my doctor & she said me that they is swell on my ovaries i have taken medicnes also and scanning blood test and other test every thing is normall but in scanning i have swell on ovary so plz suggest me
