What Causes Ovary, Back And Left Abdominal Pain With Diarrhea?

For a few days now I have been experiencing pain in my ovary area and my lower back. I was supposed to start my period on 4/8 and as of now I'm lightly spotting. Typically I have painful periods, but this pain seems to be worse. It feels like needles in my lower back and my abdomen, mainly on my left side. I started with diahrea, nausea and vomiting today. I also just am not feeling well in general. When I was younger and over the past few years I have had cysts in my ovaries burst. Could these symptoms be related to that?
