What Causes Pain Above Pubic Bone While Having IUD?

I ve recently had an iud put in. I have dull achy pain right above pubic bone and pain burning when wiping or intercourse. What could be causing this? No new soaps, detergents, toilet paper, nor do I douche. I thought I had a yeast infection and treated it with the monistat one day and still no relief.
