What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation In Shoulders?

I am having this pain in my right shoulder just below my neck and off to the right. There is a burning sensation and it feels like something is ripping.. like you have had stitches removed but the wound was not completely healed and is ripping apart.. I don t know what is going on, as far as I know I have not done anything to tear a muscle.. It has been going on since Friday. There seems to be no relief to it.
