What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation In Vagina After Insertion Of A Tampon?

This is the first time this has ever happened I got my period and when I put a certain tampon the outside rim of my vagina felt sore and so did my clit it just kinda had a burn/sore feeling to it dis not itch but I scratched and it felt better but it still feels sore and it really burns or hurts when there's any thing touching the clit or vagina or even skin. It burns a little when I per and it really burns when I wipe. this has been going on for 2days while on my period
