What Causes Pain And Cracking Sound From Knees?

hi I suffer a lot with my knees , it feels like 2 bones rubbing together, everytime I bend my knees they make loud crack noises, they tend to swell up a lot and sometimes there like jelly but more times there really hard? what does it sound like to you?
