What Causes Pain And Irritation In Eye Lid?

Hey. Within the first day my eye lid gave me a little pain when I touched it and it s been about three days now and my eye lid just keeps on getting bigger my vision and everything is normal it s just my eyelid it gives me a little pain when I touch it. It s just very irritating. I just want to know will it go away on its own with some rest or if I need to go to the doctors.
