What Causes Pain And Numbness In Hands And Arms With Painful Knee?

I have numbness and pain in both hands and arms. My hand feel as if they are swollen even though they are not and it is difficult to complete simple tasks like holding a pencil/pen or tie shoe laces. My entire left side from ankle to head feels less sensitive to touch than the right side. I get a pain sensation in my left knee periodically when walking and have an overall feeling of weakness. If I stretch I get a burning sensation down the left side of my back or sometimes in the area of my left hip. The symptoms in my arm are exacerbated after lifting or moving items.
