What Causes Pain And Numbness In The Right Side Of The Head?

i have had a cold, achey, numb, sometimes crawling sensation in the right parietal lobe area of my head for about a year on and of (but more on than off) i can't tolerate even the slightest breeeze. i feel like i want tocover it up all the time or rub if with my hand like trying to get the sensation to come back to that area. there is a very exagerated feeling in that area like pressure or lump (although there is not one that i can feel on the skull itself) sometimes it does seem to be accompanied by this continuous aching in my right posterior rib area which is temporarily relieved by heat but returns without it. today the numbness in the right side of my head is radiating over toward the right ear . can you help i see there are alot of people with this problem we don't know what to do to feel normal again or what tests to get a year ago i had an mri , showed nothing iam 58yrs, female, i have beeen dx with rheumatoid arthritis otherwise health nurse
