What Causes Pain And Pulsating Sensation Under Left Rib Cage?

Hello! Just looking for a little advice? I have a very strange pulsing/spasm sensation under my rib cage left hand side although the pain is more central. It comes every 15 or so minutes and is very painful - the pain subsides slightly when i hold my breath
