What Causes Pain And Small Lump On Left Side Of The Throat?

For the past 4 weeks I feel like there is a small lump or irritation when I swallow on the left side of my throat.. It mainly only when I swallow. I started drinking salt water and gargling with it. It seems that the irritation only happens sometimes. It has went away for about almost 3 days before, but once i start testing it by swallowing repeatidly it arrives again. Its not really painful, just annoying.. Is this cancer?.... I also experience frequent acid reflux about 4 times a weeks regularly for a while now.. sometimes it very severe
