What Causes Pain And Stiffness In Thumb Post Scaphoid Fracture Treatment?

Hi I have just had a spicca cast taken off yesterday for a suspected scafoid injury after a fall. Xray and CT scan came back all good. I now have excruciating pain in my thumb and cannot bend it without a shooting pain going straight up ti my fingernail. To touch my joint on both sides just down from my nail is so painful! Still have pain in my snuffbox. Could this still be a facture?
