What Causes Pain Around Ribs And Back?

I m a Persoanl trainer and train pretty heavy. I ve been having pain on my right side of rib and all the up and down my back. My ribs are swollen and my back is in a spasm most of the time. I ve been going to a chiropractor for a few months. He helped a little but I m still worried. I m pretty sure it s a pulled muscle, but of course I m worrying myself to death.
