What Causes Pain Below The Rib Cage Post Treatment For Rib Fracture?

I have visited a doctor for my rib fracture but not this issue. I have a fractured rib left side 9th from back side. after 4 weeks a re-check was done and calcification is present healing just over approx 60 %. The rib local rib pain area has significantly improved. I have been having problems with lower left abdominal pain just below the rib cage that is only at night after several hours of sleep and pain persits until I awake stand up and start moving around and it gets significantly better untill the next night. Some nights are worse than others.
