What Causes Pain/burning Sensation In Jaw And Ear After Having Myringoplasty?

I had a myringoplasty two weeks ago. I am still in alot of pain. I have constant discomfort with episodes of sharp burning pain, my jaw hurts, it hurts my ear to chew and swallow. It's breaking my sleep, I've basically had enough. Should I still be in this amount of pain after two weeks?
