What Causes Pain In Abdomen And Ribs Along With Diarrhoea?

I've been having pains in my right side for 2days. This morning the pain got so severe. I had diarriah and throwing up. I went to the ER and gave up after waiting 5 hours to be seen. Not only do I have the pain in my side but up under my right ribs. What could this be?
