What Causes Pain In Abdomen And Spine During Pregnancy?

My sister in-law just recently found out she is pregnant and she has stomach pains and they are getting worst.This last one made her crawl up into a ball and it was hurting her spine but she has not spotting. She mention that her stomach gets warm sometimes also.
