What Causes Pain In Abdomen Post Placement Of Heart Catheter In Groin?

I had a heart cath yesterday in right groin. I m 32 years old. After laying in recovery as directed for 5 hours, when the nurse had me stand I had severe pain in my right abdomen. They checked my hemoglobin and said it was only down a little. They gave me morphine and sent me home. Today (1st day home) my right abdomen still hurts to the touch and my whole abdomen seems swollen and warm to the touch. There are no hard spots under the skin. Is this normal?
