What Causes Pain In Back And Abdomen?

Hi, I recently went to the ER because of a terrible pain on my back and abdomen. They did a CT scan for which the report reads: there is 14mm hypodensity withing the upper pole of the left kidney most likely reflecting a renal cyst. Is this something serious to be concerned about?
