What Causes Pain In Back Of Left Knee?

Hi, I have pain in the back of my left knee, it feels like something is stretching when I bend it or stand up straight on it, and also very painful It also hurts when my legs are crossed. What could it be? I haven t had an injury lately either. Thanks
